I recently switched to ID mobile from another network carrying my old number over. However I am now unable to receive 2 factor authentication codes sent via SmS

If you're not receiving 2-factor authentication (2FA) texts, it could be due to a few reasons: incorrect phone number entry, your phone blocking unknown numbers, network issues, carrier blocking such messages, a problem with the service you're trying to access, or a faulty phone setting related to SMS delivery; check your phone settings to ensure you're not blocking verification texts and try restarting your phone or trying your SIM in a different phone to see if that resolves the issue.
