3 days and i cant receive incoming calls


Hi

I really need help please.

Its been 3 days now and although i cant make outgoing calls i cant receive any.

Ive checked my phone and done a hard re boot, ive even swapped sim to check phone and its just wont accept incoming calls.

anay ideas please ?

What phone do you have?

Have you checked the coverage for your area?

Has the 3G signal been turned off in your area recently?

Is your handset on the approved list?

Have you recently moved to iD Mobile? ‘Your switch can happen anytime between 10am-6pm on your chosen date. You'll also receive a text from us as soon as your number has been transferred to iD’.
Can you still use your data and send/receive texts?

Do you VoLTE enabled on your phone? You need to connect to LTE (AKA VoLTE - Voice over LTE) to make/receive calls. 4G is only a label given to the 4th Generation network but LTE is the type of connection used. 

You could also try requesting a replacement SIM as this could be the problem.
Please be aware that your account will be put on hold (you will be unable to use that number) until the new SIM has been activated.

How do I get a replacement SIM?

If your SIM card doesn't fit your phone, or it's been lost or stolen, you’ll need a replacement. To get a replacement SIM card, you can:

  • Visit any Currys store.

Find your nearest store and head to the ‘Mobile’ section. One of our helpful Tech Experts will issue you a replacement SIM card.

  • Chat to us.

Our Live Chat team are able to issue you a replacement SIM card, which will be sent in the post to the account holder’s address.
 

Once you receive your replacement SIM card, you’ll need to activate it. Check out the steps in the article below:

Hi

 

Yes i am still having issues with my phone im afraid. 

It will not accept incoming calls, although everything else is working fine. I have done or the remedial stuff in settings menu and gone as far as a network reset and cleaned the sim card. 

Ive only been with this service provider since 16th December but im not impressed to be fair.

I really need a resolution or im going to have to cancel contract and return phone as its not doing what i have paid for.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have been on the phone to ID Mobile now for over 2 hours and there best course of action is to pass my to complaints dept. 5 people later and no one can resolve the issue!!!!

The tech team were supposed to call me back within 48hrs. That was almost 2 weeks ago. Im now on the phone to the complaints dept (information removed). If anyone is having issues actually speaking to a person please use this number !

Im at the pont now that if this dept doesn't resolve the issue then i will be looking at returning the phone and cancelling the contract. I have never had such a poor service for a phone that is being used by a vulnerable customer.

they are due to come back to me tomorrow afternoon with a resolution.

Im not holding my breath as im still awaiting the tech team to come back to me as well from a few weeks ago.

im not a betting man but i would put money on this still being an issue as of cob tomorrow.
