I have just moved to ID Mobile but I need my APN Settings updated to ID Mobile as it is causing me problems with things like iMessage & FaceTime. I have iPhone and it don’t show APN Settings to allow you to change it so I spoke to Apple Support and they tell me that ID Mobile don’t allow manual update but they should be able to send me a link which when I press on it will allow my APN Settings to update to ID Mobile settings. Could you please do this for me.

Also don’t know if this is part of the same issue but under Network Provider Services it shows me the number I got with my sim but since then I have ported over to my old number but this won’t change in NPS. I have tried all the things it tells me to do like reset network settings, turn off iMessages & FaceTime turn off phone and restart phone turn them on again but don’t work

Would appreciate any help with this please

Hi @Raydc59 ,

Thank you for your message.

Kindly note that we don't have a link that can be used to manually update your APN settings. In most cases, these settings are configured automatically when your service transfers to iD Mobile.

As your phone is still displaying the temporary iD Mobile number, I'd recommend requesting a replacement SIM card, as this often resolves the issue. You can arrange this by contacting our Live Chat team: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

In the meantime, please also try the following steps:

Update your phone number on your iPhone:

Go to Settings > Phone > My Number.
Enter your correct mobile number, using +44 instead of the leading 0.
Go back to Settings > Messages.
Make sure iMessage is turned on.
Tap Send & Receive and check that your correct mobile number is selected.

Alternatively, you can update the number linked to your Apple Account:

Go to Settings and tap [Your Name].
Select Sign-In & Security.
Tap your primary phone number.
If needed, select Remove from Account.
Then choose Add New Primary Phone or Email and follow the on-screen instructions.

If the issue continues after trying these steps, please let us know and we'll be happy to help further.
