appalling customer service! avoid ID mobile

I signed up to ID mobile 7 days ago and six days ago decided to cancel. 
it is impossible to speak to anyone when I eventually get to live chat on 4 separate occasions I am told the systems are down try again in 1 hour. 
I cancelled my direct debit with them and then receive an email stating my credit score could be effected. 
it’s the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I understand how disappointing it must have been trying to get through to us and being unable to complete your cancellation smoothly, especially after multiple attempts. I also appreciate your concern regarding the message about your credit file.  I can see why that would be worrying.

 

Just to clarify, cancelling a Direct Debit directly with your bank does not automatically cancel your account, and if there is an outstanding balance left unpaid, it could potentially impact your credit file. Therefore, we’d really like the opportunity to review your situation properly and make sure everything is resolved correctly.
