As in the title. I need a backup eSIM/SIM which I will very rarely use, so I don’t want to have to pay X amount every month to keep it. Like an old school PAYG setup, where I literally only pay for what I use.

Yes, but you’ll need to buy one bundle initially, to get your iD PAYG SIM card and iD account up and running,

The PAYG terms and conditions say top up at least once every 120 days - you get an SMS text warning after 90-days.

This community article seems to suggest £5 is the minimum top up amount.
