can recieve calls and texts, but cant call outbound/text.

My grandson has a new simo package, he can receive calls and texts, also he can access mobile internet, however he is unable to make any outbound calls or outbound texts, he has unlimited calls and texts, he is using an iPhone 8+. He gets message “your service does not allow access to this number” and it is just a normal uk mobile number.   I expect there is an issue with  settings somewhere??

Please could you check and ensure that the number is correct in the settings?

 

Settings > Phone > My Number

Yes the correct number is in settings > phone > my number.

He can recieve calls to his phone with this number, but he can not call out from his phone.

Is this for all phone calls, or only certain phone numbers please?

Hi! I can’t make outbound calls or text from my phone either; I can receive them. I have an iPhone 16e. The default voice line is set to primary, and against the primary SIM, the number is correct. Help, please!
