I have just returned from ROI and found when I was there I was unable to use my phone unless I went into a Wi-Fi area. I thought I could use my data when outside

Did you check mobile data roaming was setup for your iD account, ​@Harsyg

Mobile data roaming would also need to be turned ON in the phone with your iD SIM, ​@Harsyg.
