Data roaming in the USA and the Canada

If I purchase an add on for 10 days roaming in the USA and on day 7 travel to Canada can I use the remaining 3 days of the add on in Canada or do I have to purchase a new ad on data roaming for Canada?

Thanks for getting in touch.

 

The USA roaming add-on can only be used while you are in the USA. It will not carry over to other countries.

 

This means if you travel from the USA to Canada, you would need to purchase a separate roaming add-on for Canada in order to use your services there.

 

Each roaming add-on is country-specific and cannot be used across different destinations.

I just need data for Canada

If you only need data while you're in Canada from 3 October to 20 October, you have two main options:

  • Purchase an iD Mobile Roam Beyond add-on when you arrive in Canada.
  • Purchase a local SIM or eSIM, which may be more cost-effective depending on how much data you expect to use during your trip.

 

Roam Beyond add-ons are data-only, so they're ideal for using apps such as WhatsApp, maps, email and browsing while abroad.
