My new contract says im on 10gb per month.

my account is saying i have 109.8gb/10gb.

what does this mean?

Sounds like you might have previously been on an 100GB data allowance and you renewed to a 10GB data allowance.

 

The amount of data showing to the left (on the account or app) is how much you have carried over from the previous month (and this figure would reduce during data usage) and the amount to the right is your actual normal contracted data allowance.

So in your case for this months billing period you carried over most if not all of your previous months 100GB allowance and this was added to your new 10GB allowance (I’d say the 109.8GB is in black and the 10GB is in green on your account)

The following month you might see 20GB/10GB as you can only rollover the previous months unused allowance. Therefore if you don't use ~100GB during this months billing cycle you lose it when the next months billing period starts.

Again as an example  - you then use 15Gb in that month, the remainder of 5GB would be carried over to the following month  (15GB/10GB)
