Does anyone actually like IDMobile?

Does anyone actually like IDmobile? I have been with them a massive four days and cannot think of a worse company. as about 99% of people in this “Community” have mentioned, they cannot port mobile numbers. I keep calling them but I may as well talk to myself. they should be ashamed of themselves. No doubt I will get a reply from them asking to DM them, pointless, complete waste of time. if you do need to speak to someone in the UK call their second line Complaints number, they love to hear from you.

Hello @SMB73

Thank you for getting in touch.

We are sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the port.

We would be happy to attempt to assist from here if you could please expand on the issue?

If a complaint has been raised, it would continue to be picked up by that team to avoid delays.

Thanks,

Natalie

The 2 million plus customers must do. Speaking from experience I used to be on 3 and moved to iD as they are far more competitive. Anytime I have needed to speak with live chat they sorted my issue. 1 issue was to find transaction number so I could port in and 2nd was a replacement eSIM as I had a new phone. As with all forums people only tend to post when they have a bad experience.

Thank you for you reply @SMB73

What was the last update from the complaints team?

@Natalie W that the complaints manager will be in touch (by email but knowing the level of intelligence the manager is probably trying to call me) and the issue will be escalated, all bull as its just to fob me off. I cannot receive calls or sms. sms is used for two factor authentication so im currently unable to work as I should, you could say im working like a member of IDmobile, not productively…. Im contacting Three, im wondering if they know they are affiliated with such a sub standard company with no morals.  one of the UK people who answered yesterday when I called the 2nd line complaints asked me for proof that I cant receive calls….. I have no words.

Thank you for you reply @SMB73

If the team have advised they will contact you via email, they should proceed with this request.

When speaking with the team, they may have suggested raising a ticket with the technical support team and in that instance, may require examples of when calls have failed.

This isn’t an attempt to disprove the issue but helps to investigate the problems.

If you wish, we can send a private message in order for us to check the complaint for you?

Thanks,

 Natalie

Hi @SMB73

The private message service is not an instant response method of contact as the times can vary based on how many people we are assisting.

We will endeavor to respond as quickly as possible.

Thanks,

also very unhelpful. sending messages with simply words in them dont mean anything, actions are what help.

@Natalie W  been in touch with ofcom, you may like to take not of this as I will be claiming this and Ofcom are aware of the issues. https://www.ofcom.org.uk/siteassets/resources/documents/phones-telecoms-and-internet/information-for-industry/general-authorisation-regime/guidance-compensation-switching-and-porting.pdf?v=329462 just to try and get your attention. ofcom section C4 This condition ensures that all communications providers handle complaints they receive from their customers in accordance with certain minimum procedural standards. This condition requires communications providers to ensure that their complaints handling procedures are accessible to customers, including those who are disabled and those who are in circumstances that may make them vulnerable, and to set out their complaints handling procedures in a code of practice. This condition also requires communications providers to be members of an independent alternative dispute scheme and to comply with the decisions of that scheme.
