Does anyone know if the Fairphone 6 / Gen. 6 is supported on the iD mobile network?

The (hopefully) last phone I want to inquire about regarding support on the iD mobile network is the Fairphone 6 (aka Fairphone Gen. 6).

Does anyone have any insight as to whether or not I would be able to use this with an existing sim-only iD contract?

This seems to be a great option for ethically-sourced materials, long-term sustainability with a design catered to user-replaceable components, a 5-year warranty, 7 Android versions and a whopping 8 years(!) of security updates.

Thanks ever so much in advance for any insight anyone might be able to provide.

(again, I’m asking on here because iD’s list of officially-supported devices hasn’t been updated for quite some time)

@RedRabbit  as to your others post on the Skyline phone this device should work but it may not support some services. Visit gsmarena.com  and  check the radio bands this device's uses and compare it to the radio bands that IDMobile network uses.

Not sure how much help I can be (or what your issue is), but if it’s of use to know, I have been using the Fairphone 6 for a while now with iD and it’s generally been a smooth experience for me.  I’ve not had to use any support iD might provide directly, though have found the community on here to be generous with their time and insight.

I meant it as advise for the original person. I'm just sorting out to leave. Mine worked fine for about a year and then there has been issues with signal randomly not working. Support just told me it was incompatible device over and over. Just meant it as a heads up. That's all

Ah, I see. Sorry to hear you’re having issues - and you sharing the info only helps to keep people informed.  I’ve also experienced a little intermittency with my signal, though I also had this with my previous provider and with different phones (not Fairphone), so perhaps assumed it was just par for the course!  In my case, it might just be due to weaker signal strength in some of the areas I tend to be, however.
