how do I get the £15 sim only student discount?

I've tried buying an unlimited plan with the student discount code but it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Okay @Jimi Cunningham, there are two offers and both appear to be provided through UNiDAYS, or perhaps verified by UNiDAYS. 

It seems you need to login to your UNiDAYS online account, or set one up, in order to claim/redeem the offers.

Yes I have that and I have the code but they do not work on any of the unlimited data plans, which is what the offer states it should work on

Okay @Jimi Cunningham, have you created your UNiDAYS account, then signed-in to the UNiDAYS website and tried to redeem this offer?

Have you contacted UNiDAYS about the promo code for the Student Exclusive SIM only deal?

The iD mobile website is the only place where the £15 unlimited sim card only is mentioned, not UNIDAYS. So this has to be an iD mobile issue?

UNIDAYS does not show this promo on their website, just iD mobile does

When you follow the links, you’re asked to sign-in to UNiDAYS, or register with them, in order to get your promo code.

If UNiDAYS aren’t giving you the correct promo code for the offer you selected, you won’t be able to redeem on the iD website.

Hello @Jimi Cunningham,

Whilst it may be initially advertised by us, the code is linked via UNIDAYs.

If it’s not setup correctly then it needs to be raised with them and it goes directly to the Team who deal with the promotions to setup the code.

I’ll also send it internally to see if there is anyone who can look into the code also.

Also just to make sure, there’s 2 offers there.

The UNI20DAYS offer is only for £20.00 off an upfront cost.

What’s the other code for the SIM only option? You’ll need to click the link on the left hand side column “Request Below” for the SIM only offer.

The link for the £15 unlimited sum just moves the page slightly down to focus on green block with the “ENJOY SAVING ONLINE”. I cannot believe this is such a difficult issue to resolve. Surely links on iD mobile’s website are controlled by iD mobile? And iD mobile should have a record if they have allowed a discount code to work on their website. Their is no code for the £15 unlimited data at all on the UNIDAYS website, they make no mention of it anywhere, so how can I ask them to look into something they are not actively promoting? I have to say I’m getting put off by this lack of knowledge of offers that iD mobile does or doesn’t have

Yeah @Jimi Cunningham, the “Visit page” link on discount page just loops back to the discount page.

Guess if you had a SIM only offer code from UNiDAYS, you could use the code at the iD checkout when purchasing the unlimited SIM only plan.

That said, it does seem doubtful there’s a UNiDAYS discount code for an iD Mobile unlimited SIM only plan. Probably better off with SMARTY - less malarkey.
