Hello, I have had quite a few issues when making and receiving calls, This is to Landlines and Mobiles, the person on the other end of the call is stating that the line keeps breaking up.

I have chattered to an ID Agent and changed a few settings, but I am still having connection issues.

This is happening in the Greater Manchester / Oldham areas

My mobile is a Samsung A55 5G.

Is anyone else having the same issues.

Hello @Shaun McGrath

Thanks for getting in touch with us here on the community.

We are very sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing with the service.

Are you able to provide us with some example postcodes so that we can take a closer look in to this?

Thanks,

Nat

I have the same issues when using my mobile from home. Every call drops out and the caller gets very frustrated. My postcode is HP3 8PE

Have you tried using the iD Mobile WiFi Calling service at home, @Libby Benvenuto

I’ve just checked my settings and the wi-fi calling is already enabled.

It may be best to use flight mode, and then turn on Wi-Fi, when you’re at home, @Libby Benvenuto

Sometimes phones can unnecessarily flip-flop between 4G Calling and WiFi Calling.

The community topic “A better way to use WiFi Calling!” might help.

But then flight mode will restrict other aspects won’t it? Like text messages?

You can send & receive SMS text messages when using iD WiFi Calling with flight mode enabled, @Libby Benvenuto

Unfortunately, the community article about iD Mobile WiFi Calling doesn’t mention this fact.
