maintaining UK number

Hi, I plan on emigrating to Oz in the next few months and want to keep my UK number when abroad and using a different Aus number.

 

if I were to move to PAYG, how long would any credit remain valid, would I need to top up every so often to keep the number and account active?  Or could I put money on and so long as I have credit, the number will remain active for me.

    Hey there ​@danmartin, thank you for your question.

     

    If you're already in contract with us, and it’s not already PAYG, then you cannot change from a pay monthly plan to a PAYG plan, and keep your number directly I’m afraid.

     

    If you’re already on PAYG, then of course you can keep this contract and number with us. To keep it active, you can top up as and when you need, and it’ll remain active even if you don’t top up.
