My problem is I cant send text message. Am getting MMS not supported by network.

I’ve been through all the manual process and checked everything is correct.

I have been through all the tips found on youtube regarding this problem but still unsolved.

Hi @Koni

MMS messages incur charges with iD Mobile as they are not included in any of their packages.

If you want to be able to send an MMS you will need to ensure that the cap spending limit for your account is increased to allow ‘extras’ to be charged to it.
This is the link to help with changing the cap amount for your account

Also, the maximum image size for an MMS (picture message) is limited to around 320KB so it may be worth checking this.

If you don’t want to pay to send an MMS then you can always install and use an App that sends these types of messages without charge e.g. Whatsapp, or you can move to another provider where they are included in the package e.g. SMARTY (I think they are now the ONLY network that does not charge for them).

Hope this helps x

So this means I cant send text messages without charge even though my plan has unlimited texts?

Or how do I send a simple text message.

Thank you. @Decembersangel72

Solved it, switched off automatic input mode, Don’t know why my phone was converting a simple Text to MMS though.

Wasn’t the automatic input. Forced stopped Samsung message app, restarted. Now its working without converting simple text to MMS.

Hi @Koni

Everything sorted with restarting the Samsung messages app?

Yes Thank you Tom. Its the only thing not mentioned in all the online tips, I stumbled across the solution by discovering that it was Samsung messenger converting simple texts to MMS automatically even when switched off automatic setting. Hope this might help anyone else.
