mobile data only sim

Guys 

Is there a stand alone dime for data only or just use an unlimited data calls and txt sim? I'm looking to bin virgin media as I get a faster 5g signal that virgin broadband.  Looking to purchase a 2nd hand SIM router. I just need internet for working from home, my smart TV and my firestick now and again . Any advice will be greatly appreciated

    Please could you clarify what you mean by “stand alone dime”?

     

    It’ll be worth noting that while an iD Mobile SIM card may work in a router, routers are not officially supported therefore may not work in a router.
