I can’t receive call as my old number I’ve brought from EE is on an e sim. Showing on my phone and account but I can’t ring it.

I believe it’s the one that came with my phone.

And now every call goes directly to voicemail

There is now only a hard sim in my phone but it’s not my number that I ported in, or did I want the actual SIM card number?

It’s the ID mobile one that came with the phone.

Are you getting any signal on the device?

 

If not, you would need to replace the SIM card.

Yeah I can make calls out on the “temporary “ number but each time someone calls me on my ported number it goes directly to voice mails

When you go to Settings > Apps > Phone > My number, does it show the correct mobile number displayed?

Hi there ​@jasoncmaxwell, please try the following:

 

1) Turn off iMessage (Settings > Apps >  Messages)
2) Restart your phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)
3) Tap Settings > Apps > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct. 
4) If it is not correct, please enter the correct number
5) Turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages)
6) Finally, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under "Start new conversations from:"

 

If you are having issues with step 4 please reset network settings and try again.

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
