Just had a text informing me my tariff is going up soon,I'm already paying £57.99 for unlimited everything, I don't want to be paying more and I swear when I upgraded last year they told me no increases to my tariff as they lobbed an extra pound on this one

Ive just checked to downgrade my tariff and it's not showing any tariffs to choose from I'm not paying nearly 60 quid a month it's ridiculous , does anyone know when they putting the tariffs on to swop or I'll be cancelling my dd and flying solo hmmm

Standard industry practice unfortunately. Any increase will be reflected on your upcoming bills.

If you cancel and are still in contract you will be subject to an early termination fee and billed until the end of your contract.

If you are still in contract and cancel your DD you will hurt your credit score and it will affect you taking out anything in the future using credit so wouldn’t recommend it.

MZONE this why I want to swop down in tariff but I looked and not showing but guy last year def said I wouldn't incur an increase but right now I can't afford it I was laid off on Monday due to being on long term sick for injuring my knee in work lol

I'll keep looking see if me tariffs show and I can downgrade slightly to what I'm paying now as done that before ...Thankyou

Hi @Victoria B

Many ‘X’ month contract tariffs increase every April (in line with your T&Cs)

If you purchased your contract before 15/01/25 then this applies….
https://www.idmobile.co.uk/cpi

From 15/01/25 then this applies….
https://www.idmobile.co.uk/price-increases#:~:text=We're%20introducing%20an%20annual,options%20and%20make%20informed%20choices.

SIM only deals are the only ones that are fixed and do not increase year on year.

I think you can only ‘downgrade’ once you are out of contract and paying ‘month to month’.

I hope this helps x x

Hey there @Victoria B, sorry you feel this way.

The RPI/CPI price increases would’ve been included in your contract and in your terms and conditions when joining, are set for all handset contracts.

Thanks,

Tyler
