I just started a new contract for my 90 year old granded. We ported his number over from o2 and I’ve had an email saying it’s all gone through (two days ago). However, the SIM is saying Out Of Serice and he’s unable to make any phone calls, receive or send messages and can’t use the internet. I’m not in the same city so he’s now a 90 year old with zero phone in an emergency and I don’t know to fix it. A family member who is closer popped over to try the settings but we’ve gotten nowhere. His old SIM was working fine in the same phone - has anyone had anything similar and knows how we can fix it? ID are telling me everything is fine but nothing is working at all.
