Hi @Inny

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

I'm sorry to hear you've been experiencing signal issues for the past two weeks. I completely understand how frustrating this must be.

In the meantime, you can check the coverage in your area using the link below:

https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/coverage

You may also find it helpful to try the following steps:

Reinsert your SIM card

Try your SIM in another phone

This will help determine whether the issue is related to your handset or the SIM card.

For iPhone (iOS) – Reset Network Settings:

Go to Settings → General.

Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Network Settings.

Confirm the reset when prompted.

Once complete, return to the home screen and restart your iPhone.

For Samsung – Reset Network Settings:

From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps → Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Network Operators.

Turn Select Automatically on or off.

Alternatively:

Go to Settings → General Management → Reset → Reset Network Settings.

Confirm by tapping Reset Settings.

Thank you,

Everybody in my House uses ID network and 3 network 6 Sim in total and all them was not having signal. My mum just abandoned her Sim today to get an O2 contract. I checked the coverage severally it says, No report of disruption in my area. but the signal kept flying off.

Hi @Inny.

Thanks for sharing this. I’m really sorry to hear you and your family have been struggling with signal, especially when the coverage checker shows no issues in your area.

To help us look into this, could you please share your postcode with us?

Also, just a quick note for your mum: she’ll need to contact us directly to make sure her account is fully disconnected. If this isn’t done, charges could still apply even if the SIM isn’t being used.

In the meantime, here are a few quick steps you can try to refresh your connection:

  • Restart your device
  • Turn Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds, then off again
  • Make sure mobile data is switched on (if you’re having data issues)
  • Remove your SIM, gently wipe it with a clean, dry cloth, reinsert it, and restart
  • Check your device software is up to date
  • Reset your network settings

Give these a go and let us know how it works out.

We’re here to help.

Thanks,

Marquerita
