THREE, iD Mobile and SMARTY customers are all experiencing issues receiving OTPs. THREE are aware of the issue and are investigating!

We're raised this issue internally and it's currently being investigated. We don't have any details we can share at the moment though, sorry.

Please can we get some sort of information or update?  I’m reluctant to contact live chat again after how dismissive the agent was last time.

I am increasingly concerned about the complete lack of access to various accounts and websites, not least my banking and the NHS, for an issue that seems to have not resolved within the stated timeframes with escalation steps that similarly do nothing.

Not even with this carrier for 2 weeks and I’m already wanting to complain and report to the ombudsman.

Seems to be working now, just tried to log in to online banking and received verification text.

Can confirm it appears to be resolved for me too.

Edit: having said that, some now work. Others still do not. At least it appears to be taken seriously with the outage banner on the website.

Whilst it seems to be fixed for most - I still can't get codes from Blink (blinkforhome.com)

 

Edit: having restarted my phone it does appear to be resolved. Thanks

Hello,

My issue was escalated to your technical department last Thursday, but I still haven’t received any update. I spoke to someone on Friday who said they tried to send me an SMS — however, that’s exactly the issue I’ve been reporting. I am unable to receive or send any SMS messages, including OTPs, which is now preventing me from making essential monthly payments.

This problem has been ongoing for far too long, and the lack of communication or resolution is unacceptable. I need this issue investigated and resolved immediately, or at the very least, a clear update on what is being done to fix it.

This has been the most disappointing service experience I’ve ever had, and I expect prompt action to restore my messaging service without further delay.
