old number transfer


Hi my mother has her old number from Tesco when we called Carphone Warehouse and gave him a pac code for the switch to id mobile. Can you please tell me if this os okay and will work because at the moment my mother is still on the new number that id mobile sent

@Pat callo  Once you've given your pac number and telephone number over to IDMobile a set date for porting will be given to you. Once the port has be completed a confirmation will /should be sent to you.

So my question to you when was your due date for porting? 

Has your date ort porting passed and have you received a confirmation? Please check your junk/ spam mail just in case.

Hi Joe thanks for your reply. I have concerns that carphone warehouse haven’t done the job properly. Because I have checked all emails and have nothing about a due date for porting. I asked him twice and gave him the pac code to make sure everything was ok before accepting the contract.

what can I do now if this hasn’t been done??

@Pat callo  Porting is done via IDMobile and Carphonewarehouse should of given you detail of your IDMobile contract alone with your new phone number (IDMobile number). If they've done their job properly you should of received detail information on your new account and if a set date for porting was agreed otherwise it maybe a random date for porting.
