Pac code, new phone, text says wrong number

Hi!

I recently got a new phone & went through the whole PAC thing to transfer. On my Id account it shows me as now having my old number so I figured all good.

Now I had lt his confirmation about a week ago. But I've just texted my partner, likely first time now on new phone, and it says the other number they have me before it transferred to my old number.

Why? My ID account says I have my old number so why is the text coming from somewhere else?

Unfortunately, the same problem still exists. I can go in to RCS and change the ID mobile SIM number to my own number ending in 7864 but the minute I turn RCS back on the ID mobile SIM number.

I have no idea what to do?

Thank you for your post. I’m sorry the issue is still ongoing. Please try the following steps to refresh your RCS connection:

Open your Messages app.

Open Messages settings and select RCS chats.

Turn RCS chats off.

Restart your phone.

Return to RCS chats in your Messages settings and turn it back on.

Once this is complete, please check whether your correct number is displayed and try sending a message. Let us know how you get on.

Unfortunately on RCS. It is still sending the ID mobile SIM number and not my transferred number. If I turn.n off RCS and send an SMS my transferred number appears as it does when I ring or watt app someone!
