Hi @Wannu66

Have you tried getting a PAC code via your account?

To request a PAC code online from iD Mobile, you can:

  1. Log in to the iD Mobile app or your iD Mobile account online
  2. Click My Account
  3. Click Thinking of leaving?
  4. Click Switch or Cancel Now
  5. Choose Get PAC Code and follow the instructions

You can aslo request one via text message:-

Text PAC to 65075 from your iD SIM card

Hope this helps x x

Oh dear @Wannu66  sorry to hear this!

It may be worth trying to get a PAC code through your account (as outlined above) if you no longer have a working iD SIM. Saying that, your SIM should still work as your account will not be closed until your service is switched to another network and yes, unfortunately, you will also still be paying for the awful service you are getting.

If you can’t do that then the only option is to try the Live Chat again and this time tell the adviser that you want to keep the chat open until a PAC code has been received and you have confirmed to them that you have got it. That way you can keep badgering them until they do send one.

You can request as many PAC codes as you want as those unused will expire after 30 days.

Good Luck x

Hi and thank you . I have been to the currys store and he was surprised after 1 hr waiting at the store still no pac code received .i think due to me cancelling after only 5 days and within the 14 days cooling off they have just got annoyed and not given me my pac code . I have already got a new working sim from my old provider EE . The only reason i cancelled was due to the 5 days of use was I had no signal at all for that period . I lost work as my contacts couldn’t get hold of me . The store was having live chat and the individual at id end has said he has escalated to the higher ranks but I am not holding my breath . It hasn’t been my best experience and certainly from my time i would NOT be recommending the service from that !!!!
       Kind regards

Hello @Wannu66

We are very sorry to hear this has happened, this is not the level of service we aim to provide.

As it sounds like the team on chat have escalated this issue, could you please reach out here if you have not had an update by Tuesday afternoon?

We will then be able to look in to this further for you.

Thanks,

Nat
