PAC Code: "Something went wrong!" error

Hi,

I keep getting the unhelpful message “Something went wrong!” when I click Submit to provide my PAC. All fields on the page have been completely correctly as per the instructions. Is there a human being I can talk to because I cannot proceed with my account without this?

You can also make an online iD My Account, from https://my.idmobile.co.uk where you register, then provide the PAC number from your My Account online.

It’s possible the form at https://switching.idmobile.co.uk is not working properly at the moment.

Hello @sixpointfour,

You should also be able to submit your PAC using the iD Live Chat service.

After you get connected, type “talk to a person” for an iD advisor. There’re advisors working 9am - 8pm weekdays.

Anyway, good luck.

The problem has been solved. The solution was first to create an account on the website using the new mobile number assigned to me and then initiate the number transfer with the PAC.

It would be useful if the instructions relating to this process were clearer in this respect.

Yes @sixpointfour, I agree.

The community FAQ about switching to iD and using your PAC doesn’t explain this as an option.
