My Nokia G20 has not rung out for the past few days. I have put it off and on a few times and checked the settings. It is not in silence or on an aeroplane. Is anyone experiencing this?

Hi @Lola Olajide

Can you receive calls, send/receive texts and use your data?

Do you have VoLTe enabled on your phone

To enable VoLTE on a Nokia G20, you can do the following:

  1. Go to the Start screen
  2. Swipe up to open the Menu
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Network & Internet
  5. Select a SIM card
  6. Select Advanced
  7. Scroll down and enable Data during call
  8. VoLTE is now enabled

Have you checked to see if there is any maintenance in your area or the coverage?

Once you checked all of these then you will need to talk to an advisor via Live Chat …..

Type ‘talk to a person’ in the dialect box to bypass the inane questions.
Just be aware that chats may take a while to open/repsond as they are chatting to other customers and you will be one of many.

Good luck x

Hey there @Lola Olajide, we’re sorry to hear you’re having issues with calls.

This is likely due to the 3G turn off that began rolling out recently. You can check if this is the case in your area below:

https://www.three.co.uk/support/network-and-coverage/coverage

Please read more below on what this is, and what to do:

https://community.idmobile.co.uk/3g-200/3g-is-being-switched-off-what-do-i-need-to-do-50979

If you have one of the phones from the below list, then 4G VOLTE and Wi-Fi calling should be able to be selected and work, and calls should still work:

https://community.idmobile.co.uk/help-with-your-phone-206/what-phone-are-compatible-with-the-id-mobile-network-67490

If you have a phone that isn’t on this list, then it may or may not work, but we don’t officially support any phones outside of these and cannot say for sure if it will or not.

If the issue persists after following the troubleshooting above and confirming if your phone is approved, then please let us know here so we can investigate further. If your phone isn't listed above, you'll need to upgrade/get a new phone I'm afraid to receive calls. Texts and data should continue to work either way.

Thanks,

Tyler

Thank you so much. My “ VOLTE” was off. I have put it on now and viola, the ringing out was restored. So happy.
