Problem With Switch

I have given my PAC to ID Mobile. I got a message from 3 that my number has been ported, so my phone number doesn’t work any more.

Putting my new SIM into my phone, I am getting a SIM Failure error message.

When I attempt to login to my account online, it asks for a OTP from an SMS from the original number ID assigned me, but I can’t access the SMS because the SIM isn’t working.

Now I have no network coverage at all.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

That doesn’t help me for the next few days, with my old SIM switched off and having to wait for the new one to arrive.

If your handset supports eSIM devices, you could get an eSIM replacement (by email) pretty much straight away, @Big_Micky

Otherwise, pick-up a physical replacement SIM from your nearest Currys store.

Does an iPhone 11 pro support esim?

Having to make a special trip to Curry’s really is a lot of effort for what I expect to work in the first place.

Okay @Big_Micky, the Apple tech spec for iPhone 11 Pro says it’s got dual SIM capability - nano-SIM and eSIM.

Easily double-check if your iPhone is eSIM compatible - dial *#06# into your keypad. If you then see a screen, which includes an EID number, your device is eSIM compatible.
