Request to Update Payment Card

Hi there,

I’d like to update my payment method to a Danish card, which doesn’t use a sort code, but I haven’t been able to do so through the available options.

Could you please advise on how I can proceed with this?

I understand the issue you’re facing. At present, iD Mobile primarily requires a UK-based Direct Debit, which uses a sort code and account number. Unfortunately, this means that international bank accounts (such as Danish accounts using IBAN only) can’t be set up for Direct Debit through the app or standard options.

 

💳 What you can do instead

1. Use a UK bank account (if available)
If you have access to a UK account, you can update your Direct Debit via the app:

  • Go to Bills → Payments → Edit Direct Debit

2. Make manual card payments
If you don’t have a UK account, you can still keep your account active by making manual payments:

  • Log into the app or online account
  • Go to My Billing → Make a payment
  • Pay using a debit/credit card

⚠️ Important to note

  • Direct Debit is the preferred and automatic payment method for monthly plans
  • If you’re not using Direct Debit, you’ll need to manually pay each month to avoid late fees or service disruption
