ring in


Got a new SIM .it works in the UK but while I'm in Dublin I can ring out but nobody can ring me

What message do they get when attempting to call you please?

Others have posted in this forum, from different EU destinations, about having the same issue, ​@Liam kelly - perhaps there’s a network issue impacting in-coming calls for some iD customers, while roaming.

Sorry to hear that, what happens when they try to ring you?

 

Is it multiple people who have tried ringing you whilst roaming or just one?

 

Are they able to ring you whilst you’re in the UK?

Thank you .in the UK I can ring out and EU can ring me .when I'm in the EU I can ring UK but nobody can ring me from UK or EU

Yes multiple callers from the UK and EU .it's saysi can't take the call

Okay, are you on an iPhone?

 

It may be worth ensuring in the settings that your number is the correct one (and that +44 is at the start of the number, not 0).

 

Settings > Apps > Phone > My Number

Are you using a physical or eSIM please? 

If its a physical SIM do you have the option to try this in another handset to see if you have the same issue?

I tried that too .when I go to sim status I can't put my number on

If not, can you please confirm the make and model for your device?
