How do I switch roaming and international call allowance ON

Hey there @Tracy27smith, welcome to Community!

 

Roaming should already be activated on both your account and your phone, but it's still worth checking. To check that roaming's activated on your account, log-in to the iD Mobile app or My Account online, go to 'My Services' then 'Roaming'. If it's off, toggle it on.

Will id mobile be sorting out the problem for international roaming data where it can eventually be used in non eu destinations ?

I recently travelled to USA and was unable to connect to the networks, despite being available. This has also been a problem in a number of countries in Europe. all settings are tuned on correctly and the phone has been checked by Apple. I have reported this problem without any solution to the issue, which is clearly with the partnering with networks abroad.

My partner has same problem. Has anybody else similar problems?

Hey there @Mupp289, we’re very sorry to hear that. 

 

To confirm, when going to USA, did you increase your bill cap via the iD Mobile app/website to allow for charges to go through for data, calls and texts?

 

Was it just an issue with data, or did calls and texts not work also?
