Hello all. I've just set up my voicemail on my Samsung A35. I had to record my name to set the voicemail service up.
Is there a way to revert back to the old system where one could just select a recorded generic message? ie, "This person is currently unavailable, please leave a message."
For work purposes I don't want my name read out in my voice.
I can't find a way round this, and I've been on live chat and followed all instructions.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Although doubtful @CraigMc a possible workaround would be to turn off voicemail for around 24 hours. You can do this via your account. It might delete any saved voicemails, I’m not sure.
Then after 24 hours turn voicemail back on. I’ve no clue but see if the voicemail greeting is reset.
Failing that, some mobile providers can get access and remove and rebuild our credentials on the voicemail server, as iD don’t appear to have this functionality recording another greeting without your name (as per the above reply) would be the only other option.

That's frustrating. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
