sim arrived early - can i use now

My sim has arrived earlier than the date I except it too. I choose a date for transfer, but that is 2 days away. Can I bring that forward to start now? Thanks

You could’ve brought the date forward if it was not for the weekend (as iD don’t PAC numbers over the weekend)

 

But the SIM would be working upon dispatching it to you. So it should be working now, albeit on the provisional number iD would have allocated to the SIM. For the hassle this might cause, as in giving out this temporary number for a few days, it may be better to wait until your number goes live - your choice.

        Any issues, but factor in it take up until 10pm on your go live date for the port to complete, after this time pop back and we’ll go from there. One other suggestion, after getting a you’re good to go text, would be to restart the phone.

          Hi ​@Kathleen Sutherland 

           

          I’d recommend the same as ​@Daz_S, you could use the iD Mobile SIM as soon as you receive it, however it’d be most practical to await until the transfer from the old SIM is complete before putting the iD Mobile one in.

           

          You’ll know when as your old SIM card will stop working.
