Transfer process may take up to midnight; assume you’ve rebooted your phone.

Alas, UK mobile number transfers don’t happen immediately, @Marine

Sometimes iD can take up until 10pm on the switching date to complete the transfer.

When I switched my mobile number to iD Mobile, the switched process finished around 15:30, having started at around 11:00.

Good luck @Marine - for some reason O2 seems to release mobile numbers (to be transferred) later in the day than other networks, and consequently switching from O2 gets completed later in the day.

I am in similar situation. Transferred from O2 yesterday at around midday. Rebooted iPhone due to nothing working. Now have WhatsApp and emails. I can make calls via WhatsApp. Very few outgoing calls are possible in the normal way and marked as T ? Travel but any marked P ? Primary are still with O2 WiFi calling and call ends immediately!😡 I am relieved to be keeping my original number but bit useless if I can’t use my phone to call out!!

Are there 2 SIM products in your phone, @Marine

The screenshot appears to show your phone has one active and one inactive SIM / eSIM.

Were you using an O2 eSIM? Are you using an iD eSIM?

Is the iD eSIM the primary or default line, for calls and SMS text messages, in your phone, @Marine

Looking at your screenshots, these appear to show your phone has another SIM (in addition to your iD eSIM), @Marine

In addition, the iD Mobile signal reception at your location looks marginal.

Perhaps try the OFCOM coverage checker to see likely network signal strength - for all the UK networks - at your location.

That’s marvellous, @Marine

Does the phone, with your iD eSIM, now show a single signal status/strength icon?

Yes thank you! 4G is on .. everything is working great and the signal is already 100% better than O2. @andewhite
