Switching Number without requesting a Transaction Number

Chris Hudson

I have recently joined ID mobile from O2, I am wanting to keep my old phone number but didn’t click on the the request a switch when I signed up for my new phone contract.

I have a PAC number but was wondering how I get a transaction number and where I find it?

Hey there @Chris Hudson, welcome to Community!

Your transaction code should be included in your “Welcome to iD” email. and begins with a 4. If you haven’t received your transaction code, then as @andewhite has kindly suggested, our live-chat can get that for you.

Thank you,

Tyler

Okay @Chris Hudson, if you don’t have your transaction number, probably best to submit your PAC by using the iD online Live Chat service, and speak to the iD customer service team.

Tell the 24/7 iD chatbot you want to “talk to a person” - which may need repeating a few times.

The iD advisers work between 9am - 8pm on weekdays.
