I have left my phone somewhere in a safe location and will be getting it back in a couple of weeks. i have a cheap temporary phone and would like to activate my sim with my existing number. Will this automatically block my existing sim card as i don't want this to happen?

Hi @tomredddvc

Thanks for getting in touch.

If the phone in the safe location is iD Mobile, we would not be able to port your number to another iD mobile plan as this is not supported.

If it is on another network and you wish to port the number to your temporary SIM, this will automatically deactivate the SIM in the phone that’s stored.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
