Travelling For a Year but want to keep my number

I'm moving to New Zealand for a few months and then travelling around South East Asia for a year. I want to keep my number.

Currently on a 1 month rolling contract, can I keep paying this for a year or will there be any issues because I won't be in the UK? 

Or shall I swap to a PAYG and make a text every few months?

    Yes, as long as you continue making your monthly payments, your 1-month rolling plan will remain active and won't be disconnected simply because you're outside the UK.

     

    Just bear in mind that any roaming charges incurred while abroad will still apply based on the country you're visiting, so we'd recommend checking the roaming rates before you travel, so if you are not looking to be charged extra, we do recommend setting your cap £0.00.
