I recently dropped and smashed the screen on my android Samsung phone. SIM card seemed undamaged and have put into new phone. However, no WhatsApp or email chats/messages have transferred over. I’ve tried the WhatsApp help site but it all the advice seems to say that I need my old phone to instigate the transfer. Is there another way? Any help please!!
Solved
Unable to transfer WhatsApp data from my damaged phone to new one

Did you perhaps happen to backup your WhatsApp chats/messages history using your Google Account,
WhatsApp chats/messages aren’t stored on the SIM - storage space is too limited.
