Question

Upgrade

My contract is up & I've chosen to get a Sim only deal with ID mobile  rather than upgrade to a new phone. Do I have to cancel my existing direct debit for the old contract or will this be automatically updated

Did you take out a new SIM only deal with a new phone number or just change your existing plan?

@jojocook1 If you've done a sim only upgrade which your keeping your current number, then the price would reflect the new monthly rate.

How ever if you've just order a new SIM you'll get a new number, so you would have to make sure your not paying for two contracts so yes you would have to first speak to sales or an agent and get your orginal one cancelled by them.

If you have taken a new number you usually have to give 30 days notice to cancel your old contract.

Hi @jojocook1,

If you are wanting to cancel the old contract and lose the old number you’ll need to request a disconnection.
