Upgrade!?

Hello

i I have been given an “upgrade” as my contract is now over, I’ve looked online and I can get a better contact elsewhere or with a third party using ID mobile as a new contract? Am I better to just do that?

Different providers offer different deals unfortunately. The better deals are probably taking a new number rather than upgrading. If you wanted to keep your number and stay with iD you will either need to upgrade or take out a new number and then do a triangle port to another network and then back to iD again.

Hi @Dawn Chisholm

Upgrade deals and new customer deals are often different, it’s up to you if you’d like to purchase a new, separate plan over upgrading the existing one.

Please note that if you do purchase a new, separate plan, you’ll be given a new number, it isn’t possible to transfer a number directly from iD Mobile to iD Mobile and that you would be subject to a credit check.
