Upgrading

Hi guys, so basically i have had my current phone for nearly 2 years and i can now see on my id mobile app that i can upgrade. So ive selected my plan etc, and ordered the new phone. My current plan doesn’t expire till this august. When my new phone comes will my current plan stop by itself or do i have to cancel it? Also nothing about my upgrade is showing on my app. As in my app is still suggesting that i can upgrade. How do i find information about my upgrade? or do i wait until it arrives?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi @Monica Simran,

Welcome to the Community!

It sounds like you have upgraded and your new plan will start once the order is dispatched.

The plan will take over your new plan and your app/account should update shortly.

Hi @Robert Grant

Thank you for posting to us here on the community.

Plans become eligible to upgrade 60 days from the expiry date of the contract.

All available offers will be made available via the iD Mobile app or the online account.

Thanks,

Nat

Rob (@Robert Grant) use the iD Mobile app or online portal

Then go to Plan - on that screen/page look for Contract details - there’s a down arrow (v) click on that and it’ll tell you your contract start date and contract length.

But yes as above if you’re within 2 months of the end of your current contract you can upgrade then.
