It looks like they spoke to WhatsApp directly for support, which is what we’d recommend for WhatsApp related issues, we at iD Mobile have no control or access to their services.

Hey everyone, thanks so much for your advices and guidance, the issue has been sorted now, had to open a live whatsapp chat with whatsapp directly and in the end it just decided to work! No idea if the live chat worked or not but there we go….

I’ve just joined the network, the phone is for my son. I have tried to set up what’s app but having the same issues with the code not sending and the same for the phone call. Has anyone found the solution for this?

Ive had the same thing on my phone & the whatsapp support has been useless🤦🏼‍♀️

Hi, Unfortunately not :( We can keep trying but nothing works. Have exhausted trying to find a solution between the mobile provider and what’s app. Neither have a solution. Such a shame as we all use what’s app in our family. I’ll wait till the contacts up and then look to a different provider.

Hi, OMG that’s awful service!

 

I was contemplating paying the £25 to change my number with ID to try again with a new number 🤦🏼‍♀️

Yeah it’s pretty dire. I just don’t understand how it doesn’t work with this provider. From what I’ve read it just doesn’t work with this provider. I’d be interested if you do change it and it actually works though.

Hmmm that’s so strange! You’d think any provider would work with whatsapp?! Will let you know what happens if I decide to change….
