Never received referal voucher, even after getting a congratulations email..


Hey.

So I’ve refered a friend almost a year ago, we both got email confirming we earned the reward. Email received on 03/11/2023 and there has been no follow up to this ever since.

Referal scheme has changed now and it uses a different company to handle referals, so maybe this had to do something with it.

How do I get this solved, as customer support only seems to be limited to chat bots?

All bills have been paid on time, and had never received a follow up email. The only reason I remembered this is because I’m upgrading on to a new plan that gets me another gift card, which I hope I receive at least..

I’m only a customer too but you’re not the first one to ask this recently and an employee replied with:

“The iD Mobile Refer a Friend scheme with Buyapowa ended on April 23, 2024. If you successfully signed up and registered for the referral scheme before that date, you have time until 30th July 2024 to redeem your rewards.”.

Sorry about this, but it seems like your reward may have expired.

Yeah this would apply for those who never used their voucher, I don’t think I qualify with that, as I had never even received it. I’ll give a go with their support somewhere, and as seeing many posts with people constantly complaining about not receiving any rewards this seems like a common issue, as to why they got another company to do this for them, so they can escape responsibility.

Hi ​@Artasdmc 

 

Taking a look you should have received your voucher in an email with the subject “NAME, claim your reward!” by 01/02/2024, however it is a requirement that the referred party has paid their first 2 bills on time.

 

This seems to have been left quite a while, this being a referral from over a year ago, was this not checked/reported to us earlier?

 

The company we used for referrals at this time is no longer handling this, therefore your offer has likely expired.

Hi.

No emails have been received, only bill mail and adverts, we’ve checked all emails.

All bills have been paid on time, and contract is still ongoing.

I’ve tried reporting this earlier, but I wasn’t aware of forum, as main iD page is only a store basically, and support page is just bots that got me nowhere.

Are you able to check your spam/junk folders for any emails around the time to make sure any correspondence regarding the reward has not dropped in to there?

We both checked our emails, spam, junk and even searched anything with ID mobile, gift, voucher and etc keywords. I would have not written this post if we had received them.

I understand ​@Artasdmc but sometimes the junk/spam folders have not been checked so we just want to make sure. 

With the amount of time passed, it is unlikely that we will be able to retrieve the information for the referral rewards on our side. 

 

If you wish, we can take a look via private message but we would only be able to discuss your account. The person who you referred would need to contact us directly for assistance.

Due to these wonderful scammers the PM facility has been locked down (they were PM’ing our fellow customers making out they were iDM and some fell for it).

So iDM need to PM you first, they have to (I won’t say how) open the door for you to enter. Both you and them can then play PM ping pong - they’ll only reply when they’re working.

 

edit. You image above shows you were able to get the referral, maybe give them a gentle reminder of that email (and it was just further ones that never came through)
