I am trying to switch my new number using PAC. The form pops up with “Something went wrong!” when I try to submit. It doesn’t say what went wrong! I can’t submit the form

Did you submit your PAC at the point of purchase @Anna Lee?

Your PAC can only be used once.

Hi @Anna Lee,

Welcome to the Community!

Just checking if you used the PAC code already as @andewhite advised.

Please let us know if you require further assistance.

It wouldn’t submit in Firefox at all, it did go through in Chrome. I don’t know if that counts as having used it once. It stated my number would change over today. It has not Does this mean I can’t keep my number now??

This is correct. The page at https://switching.idmobile.co.uk/customerPortIn fails in Firefox (tested v115) due to CORS policy. The front end error message is "Something went wrong!". Please see below for the Console error message.

Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://dcg-prd-as-proxy.eu-gb.ace.ibm.com/microsite/v1/request?requestType=pacstacinnewapi. (Reason: CORS request did not succeed).

@Tom This needs to be fixed on your end! There have been multiple complaints about it on the forum over the past year (e.g https://community.idmobile.co.uk/ask-a-question-18/pac-code-something-went-wrong-error-45897 )

Hi @Nicola v

Does the transaction number you’re using begin with a 4?

If not, please let us know so we can get in touch.
