So landed in Spain and can't use phone. Text and data are fine but calls a no go. Did all I could find from looking on the internet and an online chat came up with nothing. Things I've done.
Phone: Sony Xperia Z5 compact.
Turned on Roaming.
Switched from 4G to my only two other options WCDMA AND WCDMA/GSM and then restarted.
Put sim in another phone and restarted.
When I try to call I get an automated message stating that this number has not yet been assigned to a client!
Any help?

Are you calling a UK number?

Have you tried replacing 0 with +44?
Probably the first thing to check but often most overlooked.

If you're calling a UK number in the UK, then it's fine to dial this as 07771234567
However, when you go abroad, you'll need to dial the number as +447771234567
