im unable to delete id provided number iphone

I wanted to keep my number but the number provided by ID mobile is STILL showing in my iPhone and despite turning off iMessage AND FaceTime, it still won’t let me delete it!!   I’m getting annoyed now that I can’t get to speak to a customer service agent

Hi @MJoyner79,

I would advise to try the below:

1)    Turn off iMessage (Settings > Messages)
2)    Restart your phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)
3)    Tap Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct.
4)    If it is not correct, please enter the correct number
5)    Turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages)
6)    Finally, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under “Start new conversations from:”.

Have you tried a network reset?

Hi @Lozzie23,

Welcome to the Community!

Just checking if you still require assistance with this?

It may be worth removing the SIM and reinserting it, then resetting your network settings.
