Mobile carrier


I am unable to connect to ID mobile network at all, no data, phone or texts. I last received a text 6 weeks ago, and have tried restarting my phone and manually selecting a carrier. It always says network registration failed.
i upgraded in October to a Huawei P Smart, and it was working perfectly to begin with...

Thanks for the advice.

i tried the sim in another phone and it didn’t work then either.

Luckily I found the new sim I’d been sent when I upgraded, and that worked! I think the new sim might have been accidentally activated (given it wasn’t really necessary as I had upgraded from iD to iD) and that was why my original sim stopped working.
anyway, all sorted now!

Do you have another iD sim or ThreeUK-using SIM? If so you can try those and see if it’s the SIM or the phone that’s causing the problem.

Hi @Kbaysan,

In addition to the advice from @Taimoor, place your SIM card in another phone first to see if the problem persists. This will determine where the issue possible lies.
