new id number not working old number not transferred

New to id.

New id number not working. Old number from 3 due to port yesterday and didn’t now disconnected by 3.

Did not get a sim with new phone so put old sim in new phone without success tried to update with eSIM option without success (iphone13).

Cannot register for account with id as it sends text to phone which doesn’t have mobile service registered.

any help greatly appreciated.
