No there should be no problem just do it on the app as it is more easy
Ok thanks. This was where I was going to do it I just wanted to make sure there would be no complications before I did it. I intend to take another sim with iD & I don’t believe there is a discount for taking multiple sims. Would you know the answer to that?

We don't currently offer a family SIM discount scheme unfortunately.
Direct Debit details can be changed in the app/account as

I was allowed to change the sort & acc but not the name. Can the name not be changed?
On the app go to the icon on the right hand side that says Billing and go to the change my direct debit option where you can change account holders name.
I don’t have a “change my direct debit” option I only have a “ manage my direct debit” option. When I click that option it allows me to change the sort & acc, but won’t allow me to change the name.
I have gone to iD’s website & logged in there & managed to do the changes from there. I have gone back into the iD app to check it’s changed there, which it has, but if I go into edit details, my name is still there. I will see how things go with what I have done. Thanks for your help.

To clarify, you can't change the name on an iD account.
The account will always be set as the name of the person who purchased this.
However, you can change your Direct Debit details to pay out of a different account no problem.
