I have just moved to ID mobile, my number was going to be ported over on the 02/01/24, however due to the Xmas post I did not receive my SIM card until the 03/01/24.
i cannot register on the system, using either my old number or the one ID mobile have given me.
where do I go from here ?

Maybe wait 24-48 hours, while the iD back-end systems and their web applications resync, then try again.
When I switched to iD Mobile, I found it necessary to try and register online once or twice a day over several days, before I successfully created my iD online account, @Kenneth Fletcher.

With porting and registering an iD Mobile app/website account, it can take some time for the system to sync back up with the new number, I’d try registering maybe 24 hours after your port has completed.
