Awful signal phone and wifi despite apparently excellent coverage

My husband and I have recently moved into a new house at postcode OX2 9DA. We both have ID and, according to the postcode checker, there should be excellent coverage in our area. However, we are experiencing extremely poor signal strength, making it nearly impossible to make phone calls, and there is no usable internet access inside the house.

As we both work from home, reliable connectivity is essential. Could you please investigate this issue and provide a resolution? If this cannot be rectified, we will need to explore switching to a different network.

We look forward to your prompt response.

Kind regards,

Tina

Unfortunately @rynaia, according to the OFCOM mobile coverage checker, looks like Three UK (the iD network partner) provides LIMITED indoor reception at your postcode.

Maybe try using the iD Mobile WiFi Calling service at home.

That's helpful thanks. If they cannot provide sufficient service, can I terminate my contract without penalty? I still have 11 months on both our contracts and really don't want to have to take out 2 separate contracts.

What do your iD contract terms & conditions say about early termination, @rynaia

The service providers usually have numerous caveats covering being unable to use their network services all the time, in every location across the UK.

I need to check that through the several pages of the terms and conditions. They make it so difficult to get into contact with them. How do I even speak to an ID person ?

As helpful this forum is I need to speak to somebody that actually works for ID.
